THE ORACLE MACHINE

Experimental Media Performance Lab - Irvine, CA

The Oracle Machine was headed by Gabby Miller. The lighting for this project was done in collaboration with Shelby Thach, and this installation as a whole was created by a team of people from a variety of disciplines. Our role as lighting designers was to create a lighting plot that visitors could easily interact with. To do this, after determining how many lights to use and where to position them, Shelby and I programmed our set amount of faders so visitors would have the optimal combination of lighting groups, colors, and effects to play around with.
