Sebastián by Alejandro Morales tells the story of four outcasts trying to find their way and make a life for themselves in contemporary Havana, and through their heartbreak and struggles they realize the relation they have to various saints and martyrs from Catholic mythos. The lighting for this staged reading focused on bringing the cold, dark and mysterious world of Sebastián to life. Isolation was used to represent how alone and detached each of the characters were from each other, for despite being in the same vicinity and having intimate encounters, none of the characters could be considered friends.
